Meet Dr. Calla Ibach

True health is proactive, not reactive.

Born and raised in Medicine Hat, Dr. Calla Ibach has always had a deep connection to her community. A lifelong mover, she grew up dancing with the Medicine Hat College and Hanson School of Dance, and later became actively involved in the drama program at Crescent Heights High School. These early experiences fostered her love of health, expression, and community—values that continue to shape her approach to patient-centered care today.

Dr. Calla Ibach began her post-secondary journey at the University of Regina, where she was a member of the university dance team and worked as an athletic therapy assistant at the campus health clinic. She later transferred to the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon, where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and her Doctor of Chiropractic degree.

Now working part-time in the Kinesiology Department at Medicine Hat College, Dr. Calla Ibach shares her passion for science and movement with students. She also volunteers with the Crescent Heights High School Theatre Arts program, continuing her long-standing commitment to supporting the arts in her community.

Now back in her hometown, Dr. Calla Ibach is excited to begin her chiropractic practice in Medicine Hat. Her approach to care blends her lifelong appreciation for movement with evidence-informed, patient-centered care. She is passionate about helping people of all ages move better, feel stronger, and live more comfortably—whether recovering from injury or simply aiming to stay active.
